Are Barcelona desperate? Skint?
I would imagine he will be a bit part player, he's not getting in ahead of Yamal, Lewandowski or Raphinha at the moment. Free hit for Barca I suppose if he turns it on great, if he doesn't he can be shipped back to Manchester.

I'm very excited," Rashford said at his unveiling. "It's a club where dreams come true. They win big prizes and what the club stands for really means a lot to me.

"It feels like I'm at home and it's a big factor in my choice to come here.

"It's a family club and people are comfortable here. It's a good place for good players to showcase their skills."

"It's a family club" sounds like something a Sunday league player would say to the local press after a transfer!

Nice work if you can get it. Go on a two year strike and and still get paid every week!
Story of his career. Bang in a few goals, get a big contract, put the feet up and repeat when its time for a new one. Tosser.

I'm a bit wary on Utd's track record with younger players at high fees, there's still a lot of pressure playing at Old Trafford. He seems to fit the role they want and tbf they are reported to have followed his progress for a couple of years.

I'm surprised they haven't went for a central midfield player 1st though or a new keeper.

Unless he can play as a centre back or defensive midfielder with good feet then United's priorities are all wrong.

Even in the US the United team couldn't cope with the Everton high press and coughed up lots of chances.

If Amorin wants to play out from the back he needs players actually able to do so under the slightest bit of pressure.

He must be going for the out scoring opponents type approach with the transfer 'strategy' so far  ;D

The main issues still not addressed, as you say JC

You score five, we'll score six mentality.

Think United's centre backs are fine. It's the midfield getting overrun that's the problem and the goalkeeping errors.

It's a start. United were never going to solve all of the obvious gaps in one or two windows. They scored 44 goals last season so that was a huge problem. Hopefully with, Cunha, Mbeumo and Sesko, that should be less of a problem this season. We still need a keeper, a centre back and a central midfielder. Those will likely have to wait until future windows. Hopefully some of the younger players can surprise until then.

Pacy for a fella 6ft 4, good strength on the ball, decent in his link up play and the type of work rate that is required in a forward nowadays.

After just 44 goals in the Premier league last season (only the bottom three and Everton scored less)

It was clear one of the priorities was getting more goals into the side and in Cunha,Mbeumo,Sesko they have the potential to improve that now.

Midfield options still light and that's not taking into account injuries and United got more than their fair share of them throughout the squad the last few seasons.

Not sure what can or will be done about the bad habit of individual errors/lapses in concentration with so many goals conceded, that habit was still there in the recent challenge against Everton.
