Would that be before tax ? Serious amount of cash!!
What effect would it have in relation to financial fair play? - I hear this phase pucked about but I don't really understand it.

You'll hear about it more shortly- city in big trouble. Wonder could they be docked points.

Christ didn't think it was that serious!

Might not be that serious but is becoming more of a hot potato.

You're losing money, you can afford to, lose some more ain't really the answer. Uefa coming down on it though. European bans or points deducted are possibilities.

Shrewdness

Barry Breen... Yes, i have the same info as you. Remains to be seen if this is true, but word tonight that United have agreed a fee of 35m with Sporting Lisbon for 24 year old William Carvalho. Will be at World Cup with Portugal. Let's see if this info sticks.

Over £100m for three players in one year - and none of them would be in any top 20 list of players in the world.
Utd starting to get like City & Chelsea in buying in instead of progressing talent - I would have criticised Ferguson in the past, but at least he nurtured talent alongside bringing in big names!

The players Utd are targeting are young anyways. with good potential, Carvalho 22, Shaw 19, Kroos 24. Utd have to make signings if they are to get back on track next season.

under the bar

The Carvalho deal is being reported by multiple sources now so seems there's some substance to it.

United generate so much income that financial fair play is what they want. The tighter the regime the better.

Has it been proven that it was teenagers or 'young people' that did this.? Unless the culprits have already been identified, how do we know what age they were?..I also heard elsewhere about the 260,000 supposedly on offer to Kroos. If it's true, it would suggest that negotiations of some kind have already begun. I can't help feeling that Kroos is allowing United's interest to boost his chances of a much improved contract offer from Bayern.

It was either teenagers or a halfwit adult, but clearly someone utterly devoid of normal adult perspective and decency and with no appreciation for the complete lack of support such an act would find.

What difference does it make which option it was?

And why would you suspect that this was NOT the work of kids?

Shrewdness

Keep your hair on J70. People were saying that it was teenagers, so i was wondering at the time of my post if the culprits had been identified.

You asked how we knew their age or whether it had been proven that they were teenagers. Sounded like someone questioning the general consensus.

Shrewdness

Fair enough J70. Looks like we can forget about Toni Kroos, unless his agent is a bullshitter. The agent has claimed that United have not made any offer to the player or Bayern Munich. He also said that Kroos will be at Bayern until at least 2015..Every media outlet is putting their own slant with speculation etc, most of it rubbish. The reality is that only a minority of people know what's really going on in the background.

I see Gundogan has signed a new contract with BVB. I'd expect similar scenarios to play out over the summer
until the only name left on the list is Leon Osman!
