Minor Quarter final draw.

May 16th

Armagh v Cavan
Donegal v Monaghan

Semi-finals May 23rd Tyrone and Derry will be at home and another draw to see who they play.

Captain Obvious

In the minor Quarter finals today both were live on TG4 youtube.

All too easy for Cavan as they beat Armagh 2-23 to 1-6.  Switched over and watched the last few minutes of the other match and Donegal with a late rally including the winner in the 5th minute of added time beat Monaghan 2-16 to 2-15

Monaghan was 2-15 to 0-9 ahead with 43 minutes played. Some comeback win by Donegal.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

And are Cavan that good or are Armagh a year young or something maybe?

Armagh looked very poor. They beat Antrim and Fermanagh well but those teams are well off it underage.

Cavan good though will do well to beat Tyrone next.

Quote from: bennydorano on May 09, 2026, 03:27:51 PMHear Eoin Duffy got a call up to Armagh Senior Panel. Lad still at St Colmans, fair play to him, he was superb for U20s (until Monaghan did a job on him in semi final). Could be another couple to follow, altho one of the most likely (Ryan Nugent) is out for 6 weeks under concussion protocols from that Monaghan match.
Was he not in with them at the start of the year? Or preseason at least,  Remember Geezer mentioning the 2 Duffys from Culloville in an interview.
Big Haughey and Diarmuid O'Rourke the other 2 obvious ones for me

Brothers, Ryan was already there, could be a 3rd
