You could just feel that game was going Tyrone's way, they missed 3 in a row as well in the last 5 mins.

Poor game, not unlike Armagh v Tyrone at the weekend, not much space anywhere and just a real intense hard tackling Ulster fight.

Derry filled them a bit

Quote from: OakLeaf on April 15, 2026, 08:57:20 PMShocking performance from a Derry team full of talented players. Slow as a cart horse throughout. Tyrone much more direct. Derry got what they deserved.

Agreed. Pretty much identical to last year, though a better Tyrone team last year

Newbridge Exile

Three years in a row now Derry have  been beat by Tyrone in the under 20s Tyrone were so much more direct in their attacking play and it paid off in the end

TyroneTam

Tyrone with no Ruairi McCullagh and Shay McDermott very quiet somehow pulled that out of the bag. Not the most talented team but they really dug in in that second half and showed immense character to get over the line.

Armagh18

Obviously not the be all and end all but the results against Cavan for us and Monaghan would suggest we've a decent chance. Hopefully get a good crowd out in Armagh next week.

Captain Obvious

Remarkable Derry with the pick of two U17 All-Ireland winning teams finds themselves out of this U20 championship before the semi-finals.

Semi final line up Wednesday 22nd April

Armagh v Monaghan
Donegal v Tyrone

rodney trotter

Donegal have the best player in the competition in Finbar Roarty. They were unlucky in the final last year but should beat Tyrone.

Rory Gallagher absolutely slating the Derry manager on Instagram.

He doesn't Mince his words.

Aaron Boone

I keep reading the Tyrone team is not as good as last year. But they are still there in the mix.
