I say 'so', and I also say 'Lookit'. I apologise so.
It's like that so it is.

Sorry if I've mentioned this before, but that northern thing of calling everything "wee."

"Put your wee card into the wee slot and put your wee number in there."

And don't get me started on "that there" when all you mean is "that."

He's right, it does my head in too. Every last thing can be "wee" when chatting to some people. Maddening.

Who says Kenty Denn? Or Kenty Culkenny?

Is it the AA Roadwatch crew? Rindabaht?

Those, multiple readers of sports bulletins and a sizeable proportion of the under-30 cohort.

They also say cancel for council, debt for doubt. It's the D4 accent, but I hear it now in Passage West, Knocknagoshel and Ballylanders. And usually with an upward inflexion at the end of each sentence to to turn a statement into a question. I know it's all been given out about before, but it's not working. It's getting worse.

And don't get me started on "so".
Accents are changing with the influence of media . Compare 80 year olds and 15 year olds from the same parish.

Either that or your expectations of Microwave dinners is too high?

Maybe so. Have to say the frozen Chinese/ Indian meals from Aldi and Lidle are very nice. E2 or E3 each. If you follow the package cooking guidelines though half of it will still be frozen though when you eat it.
