Coaching the oul football teams isn't as easy in jeans though.

Dick heads that don't mute or turn off their phones at funerals. Was at on on Saturday and 3 phones rang, have a little respect.
Hospitals are not equipped to treat stupid

That's worse than the ones having a conversation on speaker on the bus or train.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt they are probably just stupid rather than disrespectful.

Ignorant HGV drivers.

Do they just let any fool with two arms, two legs and a pulse drive these rigs nowadays?

Umpteen times I've had one cut across in front of me on the motorway as if my car is invisible. Cue a 2 minute long wait while they attempt to overtake another HGV going .5mph slower than them.

There's a road near me with a junction at either end, both with traffic lights and filter lanes. You can bet any money they'll easily fit their rig in either lane if there's a car already waiting at a red light, but if there's not they'll happily take up both lanes - sod anyone behind going the other way they just have to wait!  :'(

Same can be said of motorists and cyclists, manners and obeying the rules of the road have long gone.

It's the overtaking on the Motorway up hill! Just don't, do it on the flat or down hill!

Cyclists two  abreast on country roads. Anytime I was  cycling in twos, one of us would pull  back  behind the other . I mean, surely these cyclists are also  drivers and  should understand this?

Probably not, probably just as bad when driving  ;)

From the Bunker

People who don't go properly into the Ghost island set out for turning right. So many times I come across people who are only half way into it and still blocking the traffic behind.

Not going to start a debate on cycling as most people hate cyclists so would get overrun here...but when cycling in Spain or France every day for a week there are no near misses, no horns beeping and no one looking to kill you or put you in the hedge but fast forward your tip back home and it's rush rush and everyone looking to kill you on your bike. Why is that?.
Before you all jump on this telling stories about 26 abreast cyclists etc there are idiots in this world and whether they ride a bike or drive a lorry/car they're out there. The mentality is just different in other Countries.

Did a bit of cycling in Holland when I was working there, to and from work. There's so much more room there for lanes. Separation is not an issue. Drove there as well and not near as stressful looking out for pedestrians and cyclists. Everyone obeys the rules and the lines on the road so you know where everyone is supposed to be and what they'll do next.

Ireland is chaos in heavy traffic. Not having a go at cyclists but some form of mandatory training would be beneficial. And I don't think headphones are appropriate. Listening to the latest album blaring with your head down ploughing along, and thinking the brakes are only needed at journey's end, is not very responsible road use IMO. And I'm not saying this is every cyclist, but there are plenty out there.

A lot of roads in Ireland can hardly accommodate 2 cars passing, but they will slow down when they approach each other, or stop at a gap, I have never sees a group of cyclists do either, the Sunday groups out thinking they own the road do no one any favours.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Anyone caught talking on speakerphone in public should never be allowed to own a phone again :)
