Hon the Rossies. The second goal was very well taken and the end of the game defending was excellent. It would be great if this team could emulate the 2006 team 19 years later.

Mayo lost both midfielders during the game, which was a big blow.
Probably should have scored more in first half, but they're still in the q-final.
Might meet again 😀

Mayo pipped at the post from winning 4 in a row. Like U20 final last week it was a good advert for Connacht underage football.

Mayo group of players made a big improvement from the group meeting but in the end the rossies ability to finish both halves strongest was the difference in a fine margin contest tonight.

Nice spread out of the Connacht titles this year with Galway senior, Mayo U20 and Roscommon U17.

U20 championship starts next Wednesday.  Mayo the strong favourites to retain the title with a strong midfield and very potent forward line in Darragh Beirne,Tom Lydon and Kobe McDonald

Friday week for the start of U17 championship. Apparently it's the strongest Galway team at this level for a few years so could be their first Connacht minor title since 2018.

Just watched Sligo v mayo.  Sligo dominated the second half and should have won in my opinion some poor passing and bad shot selection hurt us.  Certainly gave Mayo a huge battle.  Lot of homework to do but Sligo do have a good team and will be in with a shout in my opinion.  Congrats to Mayo
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not too sure.

Venue changes for the U20 games due to the amount of rain fall for tonight's games.  Roscommon v Sligo from Ballyforan to Dr Hyde Park and Leitrim v Galway in Cloone to now the Connnacht COE
