I see "duty of care Jim" has jumped the shark again in his post match speil

I had some laugh at Jim who didnt see Murphy punch a fella clean in the head but then in the next sentence says that players "screening" the run of other players is going to lead to a serious head injury. What a idiot he can be.

Better he just said he didn't see it rather than try to deflect only to raise concerns about head injuries.

Yeah I noted this also. A complete gangster if ever there was one. McGuinness plays the media well and they generally all fall into his trap. Deflection is his go to when anything awkward arises.

Murphy has been getting away with stuff for years and Jim just points at something else, the media all fall for it and so it goes on.

quit yo jibbajabba

"it's ok Jim I have it here on video it's only ten seconds"

In three short years spot the difference with Donegal with and without Jim McGuinness.

Be interesting to see how long this 2nd term will last.  After he's gone do Donegal have anyone to fill his shoes?

moonster

McGuinness right to highlight Kerry blocking/screening players on kickouts.

Glossed over by the Kerry mafia as standing your ground, laying down a marker nonsense.

When's his current contract up? Cant imagine him getting too many more soccer offers so he might be about Donegal for a good while yet.

ffs relax will ya. It's a term of endearment. All the best managers have a bit of gangster in them. They play everyone and that is part of the game. McGuinness no different. Of course he didnt see Murphys punch, but he didnt miss Kerrys screening on kickouts, sharp as a button on that one.

Donegal and Armagh became proper top tier sides shortly after this time
