Fitness / power on a different level.

Cavan still doing well but when the other team are that much sharper mistakes just happen.

In fairness to Cavan they are playing at a level they would not have been expecting to and their fitness levels are nowhere near what is needed. They are playing a team that have residual fitness and also were able to " stay in shape" during the lockdown.

They're  no different to any other county would be though. Yes Dublin have a few more years behind them so bit of that but they do it with everyone.

Turn over and first goal after 65, the weaker teams dont get much decisions in their favour.

FT Dublin 1-24 Cavan 0-12. Dublins superior fitness and conditioning shone through in that 2nd half.

Well it didn't take long for the romance of the provincial upsets to be stamped repeatedly into the ground until there was no sign of life remaining.
Well done Dublin, Bernard Brogan was proven right - they work harder in the gym and that's that.
