Fitness / power on a different level.

Cavan still doing well but when the other team are that much sharper mistakes just happen.

In fairness to Cavan they are playing at a level they would not have been expecting to and their fitness levels are nowhere near what is needed. They are playing a team that have residual fitness and also were able to " stay in shape" during the lockdown.

They're  no different to any other county would be though. Yes Dublin have a few more years behind them so bit of that but they do it with everyone.

Turn over and first goal after 65, the weaker teams dont get much decisions in their favour.

clarshack

Split Dublin into 3 - North, Mid and South. It's the only way to save the inter county scene.

Definite peno there, foul by McMahon, not unlike Cooper on Clifford in last year's All-Ireland

Dublin have the patent on that sort of a goal, the ones which come from a handpass to the back post for a finish with the hands

What a rip-roaring contest this is!

The Dublin volunteers just out working every other county right now though. Fair play to them.

FT Dublin 1-24 Cavan 0-12. Dublins superior fitness and conditioning shone through in that 2nd half.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Well it didn't take long for the romance of the provincial upsets to be stamped repeatedly into the ground until there was no sign of life remaining.
Well done Dublin, Bernard Brogan was proven right - they work harder in the gym and that's that.

Cavan were pure shite despite the platitudes being dished out on the TV & radio coverage.

McStay:" it's not very obvious"  ::)

You couldn't get a more obvious penalty.
