Farewell Terry Kearns, Meath legend
« on: October 16, 2020, 05:59:26 PM »
Terry left us in body yesterday but he lives forever among Meath GAA people as the man whose goal won the 1967 All-Ireland Final. His standing outside the world of football, as a gentleman, gentle man, friend and neighbour is just as great.

Amen to all that. I remember him well and he was as good a role model as one could find.

Very sad indeed. One of the key players for Vincentís glory days at senior level. We havenít had a county player at senior level since I think. Great player by all accounts and a gent off the field.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016
