Looking for crumbs of comfort I guess but the fact that Cillian got an award is some consolation -- for me anyway.
I'm glad to see he has re-discovered some of his old form at last. He went through a few bad years where he spent more time niggling and tripping and generally acting the maggot. He got the gate a few times and he could have been sent off a few more.
But, IMO anyway, he redeemed himself this year. He may not be in contention for an All-Star again or at least there won't be many more years to be in the running, so it's good to see him doing himself justice this year.

Hard to argue with any there but I thought McLaughlin and Durcan were certs. Quinlivan unlucky too.

I don’t think Kevin McLoughlin ever got an All Star , hard to believe , but I suppose with the Dubs hoovering up over 50% of the awards every year , it reduces opportunities for the other 31 counties.

Byrne very unlucky to miss out for Dublin, arguably their best defender there and 4 of the Dublin defence picked ahead of him.

McCarthy named at 6 despite playing in midfield.

I’m tslking about the young fella who played half back, maybe he’s not called McLaughlin? Got the black card against Galway. Conroy possibly could have got one too.

Impossible to leave Galligan, Fenton or McCarthy out though.

Well done Brian. Does the Dublin GAA Bank upgrade him from a Hyundai to a Merc now?

Making his debut in 2015, Fenton has now won six All-Ireland titles and has yet to taste defeat in the championship.

To you. 6 in a rows has been done at club level and other IC.

Fenton, Rolls Royce, the jewel in the crown.
