Half time Mayo 2-8 Dublin 0-8. 2nd Mayo goal a lucky one, a point effort came off the post and the big midfielder reacted the quickest. Dublin created two good goal chances in that half & they will probably need a goal or two 2nd half to get back into this game.

Some drama in this 2nd half. Dublin had cut the gap to 0-15 to 3-9 then Mayo scored a 4th goal against the run of play. Dublin now with 2 goals in a minute to lead 2-16 to 4-9. Edit Mayo level it up again!

FT Mayo 5-12 Dublin 2-19. Best team won but Dublin certainly went down fighting.

Mental game. I'm delighted and annoyed at the same time. Proud of them too. Great kids.

Can't be too annoyed with a group of 16/17 year olds, more so than U18 level was its a development grade. 16 goals in 7 games i think now for this Mayo team, the semi final opposition will be trying to stop the goals but easier said than done.

When is the semi?
10th or 11th of August.  If Mayo seniors get through to the semi final it will be on before that game.
