Agreed.

People who insist on looking for the flaws in Clifford are just a little odd.

Not a bad owl player.

Cooper was overrated for starters. He could only do damage close to goal. Clifford can score from distance.

Yes different. Clifford by far the more complete player!

Reality is football is following rugby. If you aren't 6ft you aren't playing. The skillfull little fellas are endangered

Now we're not showing disrespect to David Clifford, we're showing it to Paudie!

All sports are seeing bigger,  more conditioned players. The difference is where the bigger players can also mix their size with game intelligence. There will always be size disparity but even the 'skilful little fellas' are as strong as an ox these days.

The built in assumption was Donegal being clever defensively.

A wrong assumption so there was no real contest.

Baffling me how McGuinness decided to set up so similarly to Armagh after seeing that it doesn't work, would like to think that if roles were reversed and Donegal had got the trimming in the earlier rounds and Armagh were playing Kerry in the final we'd have set up differently but we'll never know.

Armagh might have been less nervous in the final than Donegal were.
