Unlaoised

I that the first time PortLaoise played in Stradbally since the 10 in a row was stopped?

I think they wanted to put down a marker there.

One would be hoping that they might not be as motivated for the rest of the year!! ;D
LAOIS ABÚ

Laoiseabu

No sure they would of played each other twice in the league last year too

Don Draper

They won one each last year in fact, Portlaoise winning in Rathleague, and Stradbally getting revenge in Delaney park.

SCFC

Saw most of the Ballylinan Strad game last night.
Very poor stuff. Can't see either of these at the business end of things this year although obviously Walsh and Alan Farrell will hugely improve Ballylinan. Not sure what the story with Cathal Dunne is. Rumoured to be going or gone to USA. Jamie Farrell is a lovely footballer. Obviously not in the 26 for Saturday.

I always update this thread Don, unlike yourself who just continually run people down...
And yes, I love it when Graiguecullen win, is that ok with you Sir ??

Dave like the tv channel

It's good that Portlaoise are in the pack.

They've two more years of weakish underage teams to feed through, before their current U15 team appears. Their U14s go to the Feile too and look strong, though these two teams appear to be improved by acquisition rather than organically.

Their U13B team is playing in Div3 and looks to be stronger than their Div1 A team. Their U11 A team seems to be middling enough. Unless they go harvesting around the parish again for more 'new' players, it would seem that they are relying on their current U14s/15s to bring the new quality through.
