Brilliant player but McBrearty really cost Donegal in the last 10 minutes there. Was in complete me feiner mode and wouldn't pass to anyone. Ran one chance over the end line and dropped another short. Ignoring teammates.

Always a big fan of Kevin McLoughlin.
Nerves of steel to kick that last point.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Jaysus, didn't see that happening with 5 mins to go, savage result

Ref hasnt a clue
how do Mayo get away with holding and pinning lads to the ground to kill the game?
McBrearty lost that by not passing at the end

Would agree. Backed himself with no space over passing to someone who could have been clean through.

In saying that macniallas scored that and game over.

That f**king ludicrous free the ref gave against Mark McHugh when O'Shea pushed him over onto the ball turned out to be vital after all.

Cheers ref.

Well done Mayo but ref should have added more time on at the end . Mc Brearty with the chance to kick it anywhere but into the goalies hands and he messed up. This will give Mayo a huge boost going into the May 13 clash with Galway and they now have to be strong favs. Gutsy display which will bring them in and their experience is massive. Some team when the chips are down.

two o'sheas get away some amount of messing

gripping a player in a headlock needs to be a straight red card

Yes the team who narrowly escaped relegation must be strong favourites against the team who didn't even lose a game!!

Looks even worse for McBrearty on replay. Could have passed the ball and there's a good chance Donegal would have got a point. He could have held possession and Donegal could have recycled the ball and seen the time out. Instead he tries to kick a point on the turn and even worse he doesn't even put it wide but drops it into the keepers arms.

joemamas

Donegal did not try to play football for last twenty minutes
They deserve what they got,
Mayo fortunate no doubt,
4 mins extra time a joke, ironically it cost Donegal a chance to win

Quit your moaning J70. Ye got a ridiculously soft free along the sideline when we fairly dispossessed you and we would've been free to attack. All in all the ref wasn't too bad. He stamped out our cynicism early on with 3 yellow cards so we weren't let be our usual cynical selfs.
They get momentum, they go mad, here they go
