Sepp Blatter was the one who sacrificed World Cup quantity for quality.
Here's the Guardian on Saudi Arabia

"SaudŪ Arabia have not won a match in 4 World Cups.
Saudi Arabia, who suffered a minor scare when an engine on their plane caught fire before landing on Rostov-on-Don on Monday, instead have not found the back of the net in their last four World Cup outings.    "

The absolute piss take is of course Qatar, hosts next time. Never even qualified.

"England manager Gareth Southgate dislocated his right shoulder while running on Wednesday."

I thought of putting it in the "Things that make you go What the F**k?" thread.
fecking ramos at it again.

Was hoping the Iranians might issue a fatwa on him but sadly he leads a charmed existence.

Someone was on here a while ago asking where are all the "enforcers" gone? That Ante Rebić looks the business.
As I post this he's just gone and fucked up a a good chance.

Are you going to make the same "joke" everytime a Goalkeeper makes a mistake?

Never mind the mistake from the keeper anyway. It was a top class finish.

Argentina not in good shape.

Would remind you of Liverpool at Old Trafford or in the CL final. Totally clueless.

The only joke was using concussion as an excuse. 2nd goal there a top class finish without the need of any error on route.

Messi and his Argentina team miserable. With the magic of Modric Croatia showing why they are one of the dark horses.

And now also humiliated in the same way! Lots of similarities beyond the joke goalkeeping. Messi carrying a team largely  made up of average joes just like Salah.
