Maybe off the bench or something but surely we could find him useful at some stage.

You should stick to slagging off Derry hurling because you haven't a clue about Derry football if you think Tohill could be useful for anything. A man that can't make a Swatragh team couldn't be useful for anything!
There's someone who doesn't attend many games. You'd want to base your opinion of what you see rather than what someone has said to you. Don't forget around Swatragh there's people who think Anthony Tohill didn't do enough for them.🤔
As for Derry hurling, I'm eagerly awaiting the improvement for the last 5 years now. Hoping we can get Liam Watson talked into playing for us don't think he's busy at the minute.

On Another note Higgins scoring looked very good last night, still dont think hes a wing forward though.

That's a disgraceful comment. Completely unnecessary. I  watched Anton in the Queens games on the stream and he was very good  I don't think he is at the level that most what to see for our county midfield but he is definitely at the level of some of our fringe panel players.

If Swatragh can't make something of him that says more about them than Anton. From what I hear about him he is liked by his team mates.

I always wonder if the people who post  horrible comments would be fit to say the same things to the individuals face. Safer to hide behind a screen.

On a positive note Conal Higgins showed up very well night taking on players and scoring 4 points. He probably is better inside but with his height he provides another kickout option in half forward

quit yo jibbajabba

Yer mans had a fair few snidey comments. Keyboard warrior. Best ignored

I'm fairness , it would be hard not to like the big fella, as civil as they come

For what it's worth, I'd have him in the squad

(Welcome to the board Big Tohill)

Probably have him in too. Especially with D Higgins out at the minute.

To Tohill's credit, there was no faulting his effort last year. It looked like he'd been given a job to break ball, or lay it off. Didn't seem to be given the freedom to go forward or shoot.
I'd like to seem him get a chance playing the way he is for QUB.

When we played Meath, the size around the middle was a real issue for us. We need a few big physical presences that we can put in there - Higgins is one, Tohill is the only other I can think of with a bit of size.

No matter how he went last year skills wise theres was absolutely no questioning Antons effort.
I went to a training day at Owenbeg for children at one stage maybe 3 years ago and he was a credit the way he interacted with the children.

On another note, why are Derry GAA social media accounts congratulating Limavady FC on beating Linfield?? I'm all for bit of friendship but surely this is taking it too far. Did Limavady congratulate us on beating Tyrone maybe
