Maghera was Black

Ciaran McFaul has by accounts left the panel and likely retired from inter county the three goalkeepers Meenagh will be working with are Ryan Scullion, Louie Regan and Shea McGuckin while Lynch faces a lengthy recovery.

Good that Ryan has returned, McFaul no big surprise really

Wildweasel74

Thought McFaul give it another year,  possible run to a Ulster final, Did none of the Newbridge men come? Not sure who was asked, but they showed against Scotstown with multi county men they can play against top tier players. Derry could do with a couple of the forwards pushing for a forward spot

jb77

Sean Young and Conor McAteer are going from Newbridge, couple of others possibly

Newbridge Exile

Entertaining game at St Paul's today with Dungiven beating Four Masters ( who were going  for three in a row( ,KB Mullan got a goal with the last kick of the game to make it a four point win

Aye Dromintee would be overall favourites I think , they won the Paul McGirr u-16 2 years ago and have about half a dozen of last year's Armagh Minor team that Derry beat in the all Ireland final

Sad to hear mcfaul has retired, would like to see it officially announced to get proper praise, he has played consistently for Derry since his debut in 2012, Same as Emmet Bradley didn't get the proper plaudits he deserved when he retired, these lads played in D4 when times weren't good a stuck it out, leaving when Derry football is seriously healthy

A Derry legend

Mcfaul retiring I suppose is not a huge surprise. He isn't the player he was but still could bring something to Derry in terms of leadership and drive. Would have been a fantastic impact sub if not a starter, but it's hard for a player to continue with the same level of commitment to have perhaps a reduced role in the starting 15.

Good to see Scullion in particular back on the panel for the GK role. For me Lynch would still be #1 but all depends on his fitness and injury issues which must be a substantial problem given the length of time he's been out. With actual goalies on the panel now we're already in a stronger position than we were last year.
