You need to provide context or people may think you are talking to yourself.

Limavady promoted then with Castledawson relegated and Banagher v Ballinderry in the playoff.

Lissan promoted, Ballerin relegated with Guigan and Doire Trasna in a playoff.

That right?

Correct. Think the play-offs were originally scheduled for 13th August. If so would be a busy 8 days for the Banagher dual players - c'ship hurling on Saturday, play-off Wednesday, c'ship football Sunday. Better a game than training I suppose!

Niall O Donnell back for ballinderry with 2-2, few men sitting but glad to see it

Quote from: scout on August 02, 2025, 09:05:11 PMIn the league do the bottom 2 get relegated or does 14th play 15th in a playoff and 16th automatically relegated?

15th play off against division 2 2nd place and 16th automatically.

Speaking of leagues why have Vale conceded their last game against Lavey?
Was at the game v Steelstown. Niall was excellent all game. Steelstown were missing Gilmore, McCarron, Baker and McMonagle.

Rumour is playoff is scheduled for Bellaghy on Wed week.

Heard that as well. Strange since the championship starts that following weekend. Banagher play in the hurling championship this weekend, that playoff on Wednesday, and then the football championship. I didn't think they could schedule a game that close to the championship.

Have any of you any sense at all, there is zero chance of a league play off 4/5 days before a championship game.

It's the Derry county board we're talking about here!

Looks like the intermediate play-off with Doire Trasna and Ballymaguigan is going to be the weekend of 30/31 August if the website is correct (with both in c'ship action on 16th/17th). Would have thought that (or at least kicking it down the road some way) would have also been a better option for Ballinderry and Banagher too.

Initially scheduled for Bellaghy - but moved.
