quit yo jibbajabba

Im sure in your head that all made sense

Good efforts being put across that we should be annoyed by the reappointment of one of the best coaches and managers we had in a long time. There is a reason we asked him in 2023,2024 and now this year.

Debatable

DaleCooper

Its positive for Derry, known quantity who players like.

Im skeptical about such a recently involved player being in MGMT but CMcK is a solid guy[will his view of old comrades/friends be skewed etc?]

Derry can really play ball when they want to, Meenagh is positive minded and should be interesting to see what happens.

JE23

It's great for Derry - they're getting two of the very best in Meenagh and Boyle, who also know the majority of the current crop of players extremely well.

McKaigue and Heron will bring a lot of energy and ideas to the setup also.

Honestly think overall it's realistically the best setup we could get. The players will also be very happy with the appointment which is huge too.

Probably should have left it at wishing Derry all the best.

If only we hadn't won an Ulster championship and the NFL under Tyrone men that would be funny. Not forgetting the Fermanagh native who also won an Ulster championship. I guess Tyrone and Antrim know better than to appoint any manager from outside their borders.

Mucker im like Malachy call Tyrone my home now. So Malachy a Tyrone man at this stage and that's right you went after that Tyrone man and he turned u down. Lmao. If Ciaran doesn't work out wee gerry donnelly the minor Tyrone Minor manager might next try for your proud county with one all Ireland and know decent natice managers.  ;D  ;D
Do.you think the Tyrone men tendency to chase the pounds is the reason their club football is so weak on the big stage. For such a football dedicated county never to have won Club all ireland is shockingly poor statistic.

Well put JE23. Great appointment, well done to the CB for concluding it quickly. Looking forward to next year.

Eamonn Coleman's father was from Ardboe. Brolly is half Tyrone too.

I can't see it being skewed at all, listening to him on any pitch club and county he leaves no room for complacency.

My only fear would be he will expect the commitment levels that he gave for so long and for alot this is will be too much. He's completely dedicated his life to Slaughneil and Derry.

Wildweasel74

But it's that commitment level that the other top teams give, to win an All -Ireland.

there's a debate, I think the great Kerry/Dublin to lesser extent Tyrone had a commitment/life balance.

Chrissy is more of a Mc Guinness/Gallagher suited player of absolutely relentless obsession to win, personally I think while that will bring success (hopefully) its also unsustainable long term.

I think your clutching at oak leaf straws. I hope u get an all Ireland out of all these Tyrone managers sure that's the county in the north that know how to do it.

Coleman the last decent manager Derry could muster. Well Mickey Harte got them a title to be fair. I love the way Tyrone love charity work.

Didn't the most recent Tyrone all Ireland winning managers get unceremoniously dumped last summer, all engineered by 'God' and his sons? At least we treat them with a bit of respect.
