It's not his putting that's got him in bother thus far, but if he was putting better he could definitely have limited the damage..

His putting and wedge play are not up to the level required to win at the minute. Then if something goes wrong with his long game the other 2 issues get magnified!

Do you know how difficult it is to win one major let alone the 4 he's already won? He'll win another major at least one and potentially another 4 he's only 27 and Stenson just won his first @ 40!!

All the dropped shots on front nine were caused by poor irons not poor putting. When you're  constantly putting from distance for par you're on the road to no town... He missed one short one for par.

Yep and play a bit too. Not writing him off he's still one of the top 4/5 players in the world but I don't think it beyond the realms of possibility that he will fall short on the 4 occasions a year where he needs to peak.

As for McIlroy, I'm getting a bit fed up with his moping around the course.  I understand that he's disappointed but he has no divine right to win these competitions. Runs around like a spoilt child sometimes.
