Allowed you to post shite on a message board.

True.

You'd be still under a bridge though.

That's it keep racking up the posts, you will have caught hardstation in no time and then your life will be complete, you probably whacked one off overtaking ziggy.  :o

Can I help you with something?

Jesus  thats a broadside if I eve seen one, they're usually reserved for Fearon are they not

Anyway I want to know who built the bridge?

He seems to be really upset about some people posting on the internet. He shows this by posting himself on the internet.

Any theories Joe?

Tech is monopoly capitalism. Amongst Yank billionaires are Mrs Apple, Mr Snap chat,  Mr Facebook.....

Down with entreprenuers inventing stuff, creating employment and generating wealth!
Tax the f**kers so more people in the general population can be innovative.

Apple, Facebook etc are modern success stories. Inherited mega-wealth is the real problem with the 1%.
Tech is just as bad, Muppet. Inherited wealth is less of a factor on the Forbes list than finance sector wealth

They are taxed.

You want to increase taxation on innovators to increase innovation?

I have no problem with increasing corporation tax if that is what you are talking about.

Inherited wealth always has a nouveau riche beginning.

Taxed nowhere near enough. They own 42% of everything in the US.
Money is not getting to the rest of the US. The GOP losing its voters to Trump is the proof.
Business innovation is dead. Buybacks are far more interesting.

Towards the end of lunch, though, he becomes quite angry about present conditions. There's no way he would have made it to Oxford today, he says. "For a start, I was adopted. In the 1960s, the process took three months, now it can take three years. That's going to affect people differently. I might have been damaged by longer in care. And I wouldn't have gone anyway because of the debts. There's no way I would take that on. Thirdly, a whole generation of people are being made to feel that they shouldn't be studying the arts. They're being told that their degree has got to be cost-effective."
He especially regrets the disappearance of the old "support networks", such as the unemployment and housing benefits, that enabled artists to live cheaply and find their way. "It's all over. There'll come a point when somebody will suddenly realise – there's loads and loads of Coldplay but there isn't a Radiohead, there's loads and loads of ITV1 sitcoms, and things with Robert Lindsay in a house, but there isn't a League of Gentlemen. Someone will be reading an embossed novel about a missing artefact, and they will suddenly think, 'Didn't there use to be books that were not just a list of events?' " (Lee's well-known parody of a typical Dan Brown sentence goes: "The famous man looked at the red cup.") In 40 years, he reckons, people will be saying, "Where's all that stuff gone that was ... good?"

I love one-liners, buzzwords and cliches as much as anyone else, but they don't lead anywhere.

What are you actually proposing and do you think there would be some unintended consequences?

Change the economic system.
Monopoly capitalism means deflation. That is what we have right now.
It never works. It always crashes
The richest Yanks own 42% of everything and they want to get to at least 60%

Re unintended consequences the sky was gong to fall down if Ireland didn't bail out Anglo. There is always bullshit when the ultra wealthy are worried about the people.

How do you stop the richest (1%) from owning 42%?

Vote for a government with the power to reform finance. Same as in the 1940s
