Despite not getting much love from the rest of our county men and women we Ballina people are a generous sort so I would always cheer on our county champions.

Same. Was in Croke park in 2013 for Castlebar Vincent's final....had 10 euro on Kirby as last goal scorer at 16/1. Game was well over when Kirby scored....hardly a reaction from crowd.I jumped up roaring my head off.
Both Castlebar and Vincent's fans thought I was off my head...

The only county champions Ballina has produced in the last decade are Ardnaree.

Other than the Ballina team that won senior 2007, nine years ago.

In fact they beat St. Brigid's in the Connacht final, did they not?
