Roscommon getting to and/or winning a League final would be huge for them in year one of their current cycle
Year 2 will do grand as we have to be in New York a few days after the League Final.
Looks like we're going to play the game in the Hyde no matter what.

Decision has been deferred until early tomorrow morning.

Not a good sign for it going ahead at the Hyde tomorrow, been raining most of the bloody day there. Pitch must look like the feckin Florida Everglades by now. Ground officials gone off to get an Airboat to conduct the pitch inspection in the morning :P.
we're on the verge of insanity (the verge just got narrower)

Shrewdness

Meanwhile, the Dubs  supporters are all in their Roscommon hotels and B& B`s tonight spending their money
which keeps local businesses happy.
Then, in the morning, they can all go off to Carrick if necessary or visit the Hyde.
As Delboy used to say, ``everyone`s a winner``

It's the day of the match now and the thread title is still relevant.

All jokes aside, I was at a club game yesterday where a player got a very bad injury landing on a mudbath.

If the pitch isn't perfect, it shouldn't go ahead.

Tubberman

Game switched to Carrick.
They should close Hyde Park now until the pitch and facilities are brought up to scratch.

Just wondering what Dublin supporters who have train tickets (from last night and today) and B & B's booked will do?

Have ye Rhubarbs not got  a relegation game to be going to? ;D
This decision should have been made early last night.
Time to head off to avoid the queue at Clancy's mini roundabout.

Just wondering! If I had traveled from Dublin by train. Then i would be stranded in Roscommon, unless i get a taxi to Carrick and back. Has to be better lead time in cancelling a game such as this.

Itchy

Very poor from Roscommon they way this was handled.

Especially given this was entirely foreseeable

Joe Duffy will get a good week out of this one feels  .

Aaron Boone

Good boost for Carrick, Carlow hadn't many fans at the last match there.
When would the Dubs last have played in Pairc Sean?
