Sure it'll be an evening out anyway. Beats sitting in the house!

Older lads missing out this weekend. O'Rourke with updates on jap (taking a break) dick (recovering but got a bang in training) vinny (hip ) and jinxy on the mend (didn't no he wasn't fit). Monaghan need to learn to manage without these guys anyway.

I'd be quite content not needing to learn to do without McManus  and I'd say there's a good season left in Vinny, as long as he's fit.

The Dubs will not know what to do,  their plan A of putting 3 players to choke out McManus has hit the bin. We might catch them in a confused state.

Good article here on Rory O'Carroll - nice to see such an attitude to the game and life in general

We'll have to take your word on that one.

McManus is starting after all. That's a good line up, they should be able to make a game out of it.

Monaghan have put a turbo into their tractor.
Lead by 7 points to 3.

Level with 5 mins to go.
A McManus masterclass is a sight to behold

Sickening to get nothing from that. Great performance to come from 5 down.

Bord na Mona man

Looks like the ref bottled the last decision giving a free out to the Dublin defender who got caught in possession and over held it.

The better team won really. Super display from Mc Manus though

Main Street

McManus would have been within his rights to have done a Galvin with that ref and struck the card  out of his hand.
It should have been a free kick to Monaghan to level the game.
Frustrating not to win considering all the chances in that last quarter, but a very good workout for the team and they are keeping the 2016 campaign lit.
