While I understand the desire for commercial companies to cash in,is this going to attract diverse communities to our games?

The jersey does not have a GAA logo on it and is not sanctioned by the GAA so therefore is not a GAA jersey and has very little to do with the GAA.

Seen quiet a few of these last year.

I understand why people would want to wear one and I can understand the old school rubbish it digs up!

Ironic considering most Dubs were fighting for the Brits in WWI at the time.

A polyester jersey to commemorate 1916? Really?

Wouldn't look out of place in the wtf thread.
Horrible looking jersey, grossly overpriced and in bad taste generally to pretend commemorate and make money in this way

Disappointed, with this Company which is synonymous with the GAA

The Hill is Blue

I'd say this is aimed at cashing in on the Euro finals in June.

True although not endorsed by the GAA, this may be missed as O'Neill is as you say synonymous with the GAA. The sad fact of all this is that on one hand we want to celebrate the sacrifices of these people on the other we don't want to do it in an open fashion (to use the pun)!

People getting annoyed over anything these days. Chill the f**k out, come Easter the streets will be full of black market shit.

Politicians tripping over themselves to see who can exploit the centenary to their own gain.
