You have to hand it to Martin.
As the foremost winter doom-monger, year after year, I'm assuming this is a rhetorical question.

'And before the media is blamed, it's the role of commentators to raise questions.'  ;D
If you were any use you'd be playing.

In fairness it's a nothing piece, and he ends it with, 'Well, not until the games start again anyway'. Basically It'll be alright on the night.

Ohtoohtobe

Hard to believe he gets paid for that.

Give and Go

Probably the most boring GAA writer in the World.
Every year.
Every month.
Every week.
Every day.
He must be due an award!

Today's list? The 10 new managers under the spotlight ahead of the National Football League. f**k me. A room full of monkeys would type out better stuff. http://www.independent.ie/sport/gaelic-games/gaelic-football/the-10-new-managers-under-the-spotlight-ahead-of-the-national-football-league-34403320.html

Let's juxtapose this little 'effort' with his bemoaning the why no joy article from yesterday. Look at the language.

"Stephen Rochford faces the most difficult task of all, having taken over in Mayo from Pat Holmes and Noel Connelly, who were hunted out by a rebellious squad."
Peadar Healy begins his term in Cork as a replacement for Brian Cuthbert, who was subjected to some vicious personal criticism on social media before opting out.
Down's desperation after losing to Wexford in the qualifiers resulted in Jim McCorry quitting four months after he steered them into Division 1. He claimed that some members of the county executive had "lost the plot". He was replaced by Eamonn Burns.
John Evans also took Roscommon into Division 1 but faced a revolt by some clubs against his re-appointment and resigned, clearing the way for a partnership of Kevin McStay and Fergal O'Donnell."

The man is two ends of a bollox.

From the Bunker

In fairness he is no where near as bad as Spillane and don't even mention Eugene McGee.

Plenty of younger lads would kill for his columns in Indo.Couldnt be bothered even reading this dull column. Such a boring headline and no doubt a pointless whinge again. The guys a spoofer.

Syferus

In fairness he supported the Save Roscommon campaign so he's not all bad.

Itchy

One of the worst sports journalists in Ireland. I didn't even bother read this article as history has taught me it's a waste of brain power.
