A neighbour of mine (a family from Islamabad) who are very well educated, couple of houses good jobs and with children who have worked really hard , in great universities in London (all A star results).

The son was at college doing well but having   been a top student to a normal student with other lads better than him in his class, he felt as if he was underachieving... While at the college during that time he was being picked on, lets say by radicals within this top London college... His father got wind of this and took him home... He's been home ever since and dropped out...

My point is that none educated no money kids and educated and plenty money kids is not the issue, if the timing is right then anybody can be enlisted

Sad. Young men are the pawns. From WWI trenches, Kamikaze pilots, German kids defending Berlin, boy soldiers in Sierra Leone, ISIS suicide bombers etc. They are the expendables.

This is from a film but I think it's on the money.

General der Artillerie Helmuth Weidling: My Führer, as a soldier I suggest we try to break through the encirclement. During the fight for Berlin we've already lost 15-20,000 of the younger officers.

Adolf Hitler: But that's what young men are for.

Looks like the French police have closed in on another/related terrorist cell in Paris. 2 killed, including a woman who blew herself up. A gun battle apparently.

Meanwhile Procol Harum raise their ugly heads again.

Yeah talk of an attack in the 'La Defense' area of the city. Think its the financial quarter of Paris.

AZOffaly

La Defense, yeah, I think it's like a business district. All skyscrapers and the like. I thought there was a museum down there as well, but I might be wrong.

Is it just the Islmaic veil you think should be banned? What about beards or anything else that might change one's appearance?

AZOffaly

Ban sunglasses! Although in fairness a lot of places don't allow hoodies or motorcycle helmets for example.

Walter Cronc

Personally I think the French are right to ban it.

The Koran doesn't even make reference to covering in totality.

Like banks and Harrods
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

AZOffaly

Not just banks and Harrods. A lot of shops don't allow hoodies up or motorcycle helmets. It obviously done because they are afraid people would use those mechanisms for hiding their identity and to fool CCTV.
