I just can't believe how gullible some lads can be. Imagine inviting someone you've never met to a wedding! Not condoning the unhinged behaviour of the catfish whatsoever but if I was chatting to someone online (especially some stunner) for more than 2 weeks without meeting them i'd lose interest if I hadn't already spotted the red flags. I know a few people who would have known her growing up. Apparently she told people she was texting Eoghan Quigg while he was on X-factor. She claimed to have been texting various county minor players while in school. If there's any truth in this I'd maybe exclude the mental health card. This seems to be behaviour she's exhibited from her youth.

It's a sorry mess no matter what. The girl has issues, but that doesn't give her carte blanche to do whatever she wants. She should absolutely be dealt with, either medically or lawfully, whichever is more appropriate. Her actions aren't harmless and obviously don't seem to be improving.
