Certainly jack, did you lump on? although a shorter price than what i got it was obviously a much better cushion!!
a seven point start in any ulster game is a big help.

fermanagh +4 at 5/4 was a good bet for the weekend past there!  ;D

any thoughts on this weekend?

Lone Shark, have you any good specials on the armagh - donegal game??

Haven't anything specific - all the usual markets though. I've gone best price Donegal myself - sneaking suspicion that there might be life in the ould dog yet.

SimpleSimon

what about man of the match betting?
What is your betting on the cork and clare hurling match, any specials there?

Will you post the Donegal/Armagh stuff please...

Also, could you give prices on Monaghan minors for Ulster and for All ireland?

Got stung on the U21s might try to get my bread back!

why not just look at the Ladbrokes website?

Lone Shark in the last week or so you've moved your odds for Sam in line with everyone else, reversing the Donegal/Armagh situation, is this a weight of money issue,as there hasn't been any new team news etc in this period?

If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

bombidal

id say its the realisation that Armagh are in fact quiet poor ( now 7th favs for Sam ) and are heading down the same path as Meath a few years back.

Loneshark, down south for the long weekend, called into 1 of your shops and couldn't get any prices for either the ring or rackard cups! What's the story?

5/1 to win Ulster, 25/1 to win the All Ireland. I haven't done up a full list for this yet, will be coming up once every team has played at least one game.

I've no idea what went on there - due to the volume of stuff I'm doing (it might not seem like much, but it's a lot more than last year) sometimes the screens have to pick and choose what they show due to capacity issues, and obviously something like that could get left aside. Having said that, the shop staff should have contacted HQ - I assume you told them that prices were available online? If you could drop me a PM with which shop it was, that would be helpful .....

can you not bet on louth scorers?

Last week's non live games were fairly low profile and I was out of the country for a spell - from now on all non-live matches will have goalscorer betting as well as the live ones.

Some of it was money - Donegal and Cork are the two outright results i really don't want (though I don't think either team can win Sam to be honest) however it was as much the fact that all the injury news turned out to be genuine. It's not that as a bookie I think the whole world is out to deceive me, but as we all know, the injury news about a county star only for him to make a miraculous recovery in time for the big game is well documented. I had to play the doubting thomas and actually see for myself that Armagh were genuinely understrength as it were. Put the fingers in the spear wounds, so to speak.

Bakers aside, did anyone make any dough at the weekend?

Any good specials taken advantage off?

magpie seanie

Not a big gambler but the Meath +3 came up for me. Along with the few bob on Manilou and breaking even on the dogs I did ok. A slump is in the post.... Note to self - do not back Sligo!

Lone Shark

We're back and going again. These are all up until Saturday afternoon and the start of the qualifiers, but they will be revised and put back up next week.

I know I've been at this a lot this week, so if people feel like I'm spamming just say so - I've no wish to clog up the board, it's merely a case of when I do stuff that's a bit different.....
