Reported tonight it could Up to 7 weeks to appoint the next Mayo senior manager.  U17/U20 Mayo managers have stepped down also will be be a busy time for the Mayo county board.

Stephen Rochford the current favourite to become the new Roscommon manager,  another county board who normally drag things out and are then left with slim pickings.

Let the Gallagher bum-holing begin. What a  shambles of a county.

4 managers in as many years.

Irish news basically saying he was sacked
Wanted.  Forwards to take frees.
Not fussy.  Any sort of ability will be considered

Will they go after Paul Devlin? Seem to have a whole Tyrone thing going on...

Jesus that seems wild, Derry did actually look like they had turned a corner. RG must have sent out the vibes. I'm not sure RG would prosper with these new rules either.

Eejits with notions. A squad that had fallen apart with a lot of miles on the clock that needs rebuilt while adjusting to new rules and which doesn't have the quality to glide through.

Tally did a decent job for the most part (some wobbles).

Aye, he did everything right except win a match.

Not that I'm blaming him. Nor do I think he should be got rid of. But not winning a match in a year is some "wobble".

What are odds Tally could rejoin Tyrone in some capacity?

No chance of that I would have thought

2 draws,9 defeats in 11 league and championship games under Tally. The two draws against Galway who were eventually taken out by Meath.

Mickey Harte and Declan Kelly will remain in charge of the Offaly Senior Football team for 2026.

There were rumours about whether Harte would continue for another year following the defeat to Kildare last month.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

I wasn't really thinking of results, some of the strategy/tactics mainly.

It was a clown show he stepped into with a squad that appeared up in the air after the previous regime, surely the county didn't expect to be winning Ulster/AI with a new manager and only a couple of months at the helm.

If it's purely a results business then 28 managers a year should be getting the boot.

I do think Tally's record as a no 2 exceeds his record as a manager by some
Margin though.

I'm reminded of David Moyes when sacked at Utd who said " if I'd known I'd only a season I'd have taken a very different approach"
