yea they are very impressive, Yaya has started really well, i had forgotten that he lost his brother at the start of last season and that, im sure, had a big impact on him, he seems to be better than ever this year. and with the signing of Otamendi they dont look like conceding too many any time soon! Chelsea are surprisingly bad and have been lucky in certain aspects in the first few games. Pedro very impressive yesterday though.
Man Utd need fire power big time. Leicester the other team to impress so far. Swansea at times.

someone please explain to me how this kid Anthony Martial can cost 36 million pounds!!??
hes 19 and i believe he has had 52 professional games under his belt so far. nothing short of INSANE money. he might turn out to be the best striker in the world, hope he does, but he is NOT worth that yet. Rooney didnt even know who he was ffs!!
the football world, and especially the premier league, has lost its mind. lost it some time ago actually.

The strangest signing of the day was that Hector fella chelsea bought from reading for 4m and then loaned him back.
He is 23 like and cant hold down a  regular place at reading ahead of anton ferdinand and mcshane  :-\  :-\ ???
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

LOL yes, fair bad when you cant get ahead of McShane!

Spoiler alert: it's always shite, no matter how much Jim White and Harry Redknapp try to sell it to you.

Wasn't sure where to stick this & didn't want to start a new thread:

Good !

SAHR KABBA OF Welling has become the first player charged with 'feigning injury' by the FA.
Tranmere's Ritchie Sutton had been sent off following an incident in the teams' 1-1 draw in the National League at the weekend, but after the club's appeal to get the decision overturned was successful, Kabba has been handed a three-match ban for his part in getting the player red-carded.
It is the first time a new rule, implemented at the start of the season, has been utilised. The rule states that any player who is found guilty of getting an opponent sent off through feigning injury is subsequently open to being suspended.
Welling still have the option to appeal the suspension, however, and have until 11 September to respond to the charge.(BBC Sport)

City look unbeatable so far in the league. Get beaten 2-1 at home in Europe. Utd look stronger in the league this year but get beaten in Europe. EPL standard dropping further it seems.

Do they? Apart from a win over a gutless Liverpool team when have they actually looked stronger?
Lost to Swansea after being one up,a scoreless draw at home to one of the worst teams in the league in Newcastle and a lucky win via an own goal on the opening day v Spurs.
A win away to Villa is pretty much guaranteed for most clubs also, and even at that they huffed and puffed for a lot of the game.
I wasn't surprised with United's result last night.

If/when no EPL team gets to the semi finals of CL and if an Italian team make the final are the CL places for next season reduced down to the top 3?

Just checked it up..

Only 5 pts separate Italy and England. Pressure on big time.

Lads we might have to start shouting for Arsenal, City, Chelsea and United because if the English teams' piss poor form in Europe continues, we might be talking about a top 3 battle, rather than a top 4.
