Was watching some Ulster club football today and was thinking that most successful clubs are usually built around one or two families.
Errigal - The Canavans
Ballinderry - McGuckins
Lavey - McGurks/ Downeys
can any one think of any others??

Surely the most successful of them all were the Fennelly's of Ballyhale Shamrocks and Kilkenny

Kevin, Ger, Brendan, Liam, Dermot, Michael, Sean - four of them started in the 1987 AI Final

Caltra 2004 - 4 of the Meehans started that day and 4 of them all played championship for galway in the same year against Louth. That must be some sort of record.

They might be a great GAA family but they have no loyalty whatsoever...clubs they have represented....

Glenn - Oul James
Tullylish - The young fellas
Burren - Same again

..and if you include their cousins the Kanes... Val and DJ....Shamrocks, Mitchels, Ballyholland...the list is endless

Heard Gerard Rice paid £3500 for daddy James's 1961 jersey at some do in the Slieve Donard last night.  Would give him £3.50 for it and thats about it.
