I've played numerous matches in two different counties on Good Fridays. Also trained on Good Friday too.

Not really though..Easy get a drink if you want it. Clubhouses are actually exempt from the stupid law, even though most of them don't open. That law is a joke and was just ignored for a big Munster v Leinster game in Limerick a few years back when every bar opened. Needs to be removed altogether.

Played loads of games on Good Friday.

In junior soccer here in Sligo it used to be a big day. Always a full round of fixtures. Play a match in the morning and get the minibus to Eniiskillen to go on the piss for the day.
