Makes it very interesting for next weekends games. Monaghan v Derry is a must win for both sides. And Dublin will be going to Castlebar on a mission as they are in second last place now and possibly facing relegation if Monaghan were to win next weekend.

Despite the setbacks over the last couple of years, most Mayo fans have great respect for this group of players. A lot (of the real fans) realise that they are still in a good place and that this will not last forever. So they might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

According to the radio a lock of the supporters headed for the fur style when Mayo scored their second goal.

Overall they are a real credit to the county.
