We had a system that was working well and kept fellas playing until they were 21. Many had passed through college before they were overage. It was win-win for GAA clubs.
It was a simple system of 12/14/16/18/21.

One rule fucked it all up- changing the age that you were allowed play adult at from 16 to 17. (Are you listening L. Oí Neill?).

Now we are pussyfooting around trying to rectify a self inflicted problem.
Some counties have changed like us to 11/13/15/17....some havenít. Itís a joke trying to get challenge games.
[/quo
Agreed, itís a balls of a situation. But I do believe that if a fella isnít involved in an adult team of some sort by 19, then youíve nearly lost him already.

You probably have, but the aim and ethos is community involvement and fellas who drifted a bit at 18/19 were often coaxed back at 20/21 to play with their mates.
The implications that ďdo-gooderĒ decision has had is very frustrating.
Even our feile teams- win their division in Laois & no match until the National competition

Laois GAA have been made aware of a company who are contacting businesses and individuals looking for money for sponsorship of a wall planner on behalf of Laois GAA and in particular raising funds for our Senior teams. We wish to state that no company has permission to do this .

Given what we know over this side of the mountain, should we all be backing Shinrone to win Offaly in 2019.....
I presume AD is there for another year...

Oh Jesus, donít get me started. Sinister sledging has no place in our games, nor any game for that matter.

There's a team of the week on Laois today there and it's easy knowing they weren't at the under 21 B final. No disrespect to Shane Nerney but he had nearly no impact on the game. Young Tom Kelly and O'Hora were miles better.
As for picking the O'Dempseys keeper?! The chap was in danger of dying of boredom😁.

He was the only one that did not concede a goal, so thatís a plus.

He also hadn't a save to make! Crazy selection. Even the young lad for The Heath pulled off a couple of good stops and couldn't do a thing about the 4 goals.
