This is effectively a World Cup for Gaelic Football for teams outside Ireland. Whatever way you look at it - the stats, the enthusiasm, the spread of the game - it's hard not to impressed http://jeromequinnmedia.com/video/Global-GAA/Middle-East/2015-World-Games-Preview-1443

Disappointed to be missing this due to other commitments but about 70 of my Singapore Gaelic Lions colleges are at the games including 8 men and 6 ladies who were selected to play on the Asian representative teams. Also a couple of other teams playing in more "social" tournaments. Lads from here have put in a huge effort over the past 6 weeks preparing so hoping it goes well although there are likely to be a few very strong outfits.

That looks deadly - would be great to see that expand over time.
Godo work Jerome Quinn...one minute freezing the balls off at the Dub....

This is great stuff, Jerome. Would you be thinking of doing a tour of Brittany or Galicia to see these lads playing at home?  I'd be very interested in seeing what that's like. The number of clubs in those places has taken off like a rocket.

I been saying this for years! This is where you put the effort into our games outside Ireland rather than the Compromise rules games. The standard may be up and down, but it is great to see GAA games exposed to a trickle of the masses!
