Local cast does the job. I'll tell you what,  there is zero buffering or the like. Hit play and it plays.

downloaded and working on phone.

local cast normally works for me but not this time.

Any alternatives?

Think it was localcast which wasn't working.

Downloaded allwire.  Works perfect on new sky HD app mentioned above.

Must try it on showbox.

I like Showbox but theres no comparison between sky hd and showbox as regards buffering and lag. Sky HD is the bomb.

I started with Showbox but it wasn't near as good as HD Cinema.  Kodi is what I have been using since HD Cinema went down and it is great.

Sky HD doesn't seem to have as many TV series as Showbox.
Can't find Falling Skies on it for example.
Showbox always works well for me anyways.

Have been using showbox on the laptop (via bluestacks), but all the movies and series seem to be down. anyone having similar issues?

I have Sky HD and Showbox but the most reliable one is KODI.

Yeah same, I got a pop up message saying they are updating something or other and it could be down for a few days.
