Any craic

If you've had enough 'Strictly Come Dancing' or boxing fundraisers, this is something new and very different and a bit of craic. These lads have a GAA comedy show that is now available for bookings for going round clubs this Autumn. The good thing is that clubs don't have to do any work - they just host it.

Some hate them, some love them.

The trailer didn't do them any favours, wouldn't entice me to book the show.  Would like to check it out though.

For tips on how to put 1000 people into a marquee and sell the most drink your club has ever sold in one night, ask Clan Na Gael in Lurgan ;-)

To be fair, the trailer was filmed outside and for the camera. The atmosphere in a packed club environment in a few months time would be very different. I guarantee you it would be a good night's craic.

Are you declaring a vested interest "any craic" ?

Yes Kidder I am involved in a small way and will be happy to take a booking for your club!

Is their home ground Mungo Park named after the British explorer?

The Show starts in Donaghmore on October 4 and goes round clubs after that. These are a few of the characters that will feature, introducing Club Sponsor Patsy Armstrong from Armstrong Abattoirs..

Video: '10 out of 10' - local celebs loved the St Mungos GAA Comedy Show last night at the Welly. It's on again tonight, same venue. This Show has been packing out clubs for 2 months now and getting great reviews. https://vimeo.com/115227140

No, the goalie was Gerry and he ended up being called Mungo Gerry. The park was named after him when the goal post fell on him in a junior relegation playoff.
