I once drove to Maynooth and got the train to Connolly. When I went to come back it was ages till the next train so had the bright idea of going to Busaras to see if there was bus going West earlier . I was told they couldn't drop me in an area served by Dublin Bus as they aren't allowed to pick up and drop off within that franchise area.
Anyway we have our own Bus and it can go wherever we like. ;)

Eh, BE drops off and collects at Dublin Bus stops all the time.

To clarify what I was told - they couldn't pick me up AND drop me off in the DBus area. They could do one or the other but not both!
Maybe its changed now - that was 3 years ago.
Anyway I hope to be using the Maynooth/Drumcondra train a few time next Aug/Sept ;D

They'll only pick you up if you're going somewhere outside Dublin.
They won't let you get a Bus from Busàras to the Lucan Spa e.g even though the Bus stops there - but only to pick up people heading West.
Sure you could just hop on the 25B or the 66A
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

That sounds like a line from a Bagatelle Song.

You never mentioned Maynooth. Both have stops near the Lucan Spa.

Read my posts first buck. I said I had left the car at Maynooth and got the train. To avoid a long wait for the train back I went to get a BÉ bus to Maynooth but they couldn't oblige.....

Dublin Bus 66. Usually the Donnybrook garage which services that route, so I'd bet a Volvo B7TL would be the model.
