Got married in 2001, found the old Wedding Video doing a clear out at the weekend.  Is this now totally defunct or is there any way of getting this archaic media onto something I could actually watch?

The video man will most likely have facility now to do that without a problem.

But I just can't work out why you'd want to remind yourself.

Google "honestech vhs to dvd". I got it as a Christmas present. I haven't used it yet, so no opinion on how well it works. It's software plus a few cables/connectors.

It also has video edit and audio record capability.

If you have a Video Player, a DVD recorder and Scart cable, press play on the video and record on the DVD recorder.
If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

Unfortunately I don't own or know of anyone who owns a video player.

My video man died a few years ago, I thought be a decent mothers present and all the kids could watch mum and dad when they were hip and young!!!  :P

Most of the high street photo shops do it for you! Snappy Snaps etc
I bought all the bits and bobs to do it a couple of years ago and was either able to copy picture in B&W or sound only. Never got it to work perfectly.
Who's a bit of a moaning Michael tonight!
