Boylesports had Armagh favourites earlier in the week, they now reflect the concept of Cork being favourites and somewhat favour the idea of the winners of Cork/Armagh being likely to go all the way.

Cork        2/1
Armagh     9/4
Mayo       5/2
Laois        4/1

Ah sure Cork were supposed to go all the way last year, and the year before, and the year before.....

Very surprise at the match odds for the cork / armagh game. bookies have armagh at 7/4 for this one! great value for a team that could have won each of its three ulster championship games by at least ten points.

Perhaps the bookies are reading that organ of the GAA, the Belfast Telegraph.

Armagh v Cork

(Portlaoise 3pm)

CORK have looked a very solid side throughout their Munster campaign and will go into this encounter as favourites, especially as Armagh have serious injury worries over skipper James Lavery. Last Saturday the orchard county produced a storming finish to get the better of Monaghan in the Ulster decider but Cork may have too much fire-power up front for them.

Verdict: Cork to win by five points

Mayo 0-04
Laois 0-03
Laois should be well ahead, after missing some very kickable points, plus had one disallowed that was clearly a point
