Ziggy's thinly veiled "I've got a date in Dungannon thread" ???

I never said that.

Cheers everyone, plenty of food for thought there. :)

If you can't find somewhere good to go in Dungannon there is somewhere in Caledon

Viscounts is class, but pricey. Probably in the region of 70-80 quid for a couple getting 3 courses and a couple of drinks.
Canos is an overpriced pizza joint IMO. I'd prefer a Goodfellas any day.
The Golf club is very good and not too pricey but need to book in advance as they're always busy on a sat night.
The Dehli on the Green is ok, I've been twice. Once was class, the second time was awful. A bit cheaper than Viscounts but not much.
There's a nice sit in Chinese called the Dragon House.
That's about it in Dungannon. It's either really pricey or the chipper. Not much in between.

Although not Dungannon, the Brewers house in Donaghmore is lovely. Only a few miles down the road!

This place is first class as is The Black Cat in Ballygawley.

Being from the town itself I am unaware how it's perceived by other's. Does it have a rough rep?

It does. Not helped by the high % of non nationals.
