I love these little insights that pop up every now and again. This morning we got a priceless one into Micko's mentality from a very early age.

When he was a little lad, his mother was a cook in some hotel, a fact that enabled him to 'come by' some tomatoes, which were a rarity, apparently and which he would sell for a penny each.

When he had made enough tomato money, he bought a football and went about his first venture into making money from sport. He used to organise games and charge the other kids a penny each for using the football!
