Someone very close to *me* binned TNT a couple of weeks ago and has been working off the dodgy stick. They haven't got a lot of the rugby this year.

was reading obituary there on Irish Times. I knew she had history with Rolling Stones and had drug problems, but it said she ended up living on the streets in Soho for a while until she got clean.
And when on stage in the madness scenes of Hamlet, she was off her head on heroin.
Not to condone or wish to end up in that state, but that's some life! Tried everything and lived to a decent age to tell the tale

Only the aul fellas here will remember both shows. I hated Last of the Summer Wine. Sunday evening fare. Just on before you realised you had school the following morning.

George and Mildred was good old fashion sitcom stuff, Last of the Summer wine I could take it or leave it, not a patch on other UK ones, but now that I'm getting to that age I will probably understand it better ;D
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Aww no, last of the summer wine was good. 😂 Compo was great value. Wouldn't fancy watching it again tho as doubt it would have stood the test of time the way OFAHs did.
Remember a great episode where they built a submarine out of a few barrels.

*Rose tinted glasses most definitely on.

I wasn't  a regular viewer  of LOTSW , but  it's a show where you could read the paper while  glancing at it.  Or something you'd put on as background noise rather than just  turning the TV off. Nearly like a screensaver.

Don't think I could  tell you what the gist of any  episode was about (was there a gist to any of them?),  but  I suppose you were just waiting on Nora Batty chasing them  off with a brush or them ogling through  some aul dolls window.
