Aw shite, didn't even know he was sick.  "The Band" is one of the great LPs of all time. According to Wiki even though they had many's the fall out over the years Robbie Robertson visited him a few days ago.  RIP.

Influential guitarist Bert Weedon, best known for creating the popular tutorial manual Play In A Day, has died aged 91. A major influence on of a lot of guitar players, I never managed to play in a day though!
