American country folk singer-songwriter. John Prine.  From COVID-19 related illness. Aged 73.

Ah no - loved John Prine.

We had a John Prine Appreciation day on Sunday....listened to his music as we cooled and ate dinner....hard to believe it when a legend goes Inspite of Himself.... hes pouring Vodka and Ginger ale with God now and playing Rock and Roll with Cash

John Prine was the daddy of the singer songwriters. Fantastic lyricist, wit and emotive artist. Sam Stone an absolute classic.

John Prine was a fantastic songwriter and performer. He did lots of shows here in Ireland and had a strong link to the country, being married to a Donegal woman. Rest in peace, John.

Stirling Moss - No.7

Probably the greatest ever that never won the world championship. Raced when it was an extremely dangerous sport with many fatal accidents. Always came across as a decent chap.

Aka 'The Cat'? Wasn't he in goal when WGer came from behind to knock England out of the 1970 World Cup?

Lost 3-2 from being 2-0 up and never played again.
