He did and his last WWE appearance he got booed out of the arena.  Some wrestling career he had and one of the most known figures even if you didn't follow it. Was rumours he was in poor health the last month or so after some recent surgery.

Let's be honest, he was a relentlessly horrible bastard all round. A pathological liar.

RedHand88

Arguably one of the most iconic names/faces in the business ever. Wrestling would not be the giant industry it is today without him.

Rest in peace brotha.

Was extremely influential in bringing wrestling to the main stream but he was actually a terrible wrestler when you watch the old videos.

US politics is a caricature of WWE, for all Trumps pathetic tropes and pure cubtishness he was a genius to play the kayfabe card on a huge demographic of outright cabbages

That leg drop must have clean fucked his back more than 20 30 years ago

Something that always confounds me is how those old war horses kept going back for more, the buzz must have been fairly addictive at the top level, running around as larger than life comic strip superheroes

Serious credit for the early and peak era entertainment, all gone a bit stale now as a product as the icons exit stage left

When I first watched it he was top dog, then lost interest for a few years but my mates were into it at the Attitude era so got back into it in my teens.

Hogan was carrying the company in that early era when it became massive. What was he said, I worked over 400 days a year one year? That road lifestyle probably becomes second nature then retirement brings no income and all this time on your hands so probably get pulled back in.

When it came on Netflix I thought I'll give it a go again but lasted about half an episode of Raw. Not for me now but definitely lived and breathed it as a cub.

Very short illness?

Managed Moycullen to a Galway senior title recently and was also involved in the management of NUIG recent sigerson cup success if I recall right.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Rossfan

He was ill - was it 2 years ago?
Someone told me he was pretty ill when I mentioned him as a possible Ros manager last month.
