Here's another one:
What do each of the provincial champions of 2013 in both hurling and football have in common? (With the exception of the Ulster Hurling Championship which is not yet completed)

Rossfan

They all had home venues in the Provincial finals??

What year did Kevin Moran last play in an All Ireland Senior Final?

Don Corleone

What is generally regarded as the oldest GAA trophy?
Why did you go to the police? Why didn't you come to me first?

Don Corleone

Or even who broke a leg in the 1st. half of an A/I senior final but was still MOTM?

CiarĂ¡n McDonald was supposed to have broken a bone in his foot just before halftime in the 2003 AI Club Final and got MOTM even though Nemo won it.

Technically, Croke Park isn't Dublin's home venue.

Connacht Final 1970  ;)

I recalled hearing that there was a connacht final televised in the seventies , so rossfan is right.

QuoteThat same year saw him line out in the halfback line with Mayo minors in the Connacht Final against Galway in Tuam. They lost out to their neighbours that day and Galway went on to win the All Ireland title. The year 1970 marked the first ever live television broadcast of a GAA provincial final and both the minor and senior games were transmitted live form Tuam on that occasion.Courtesy of the Mayo News

Is that true, never heard it before?

Don Corleone

19 and 20 are as follows:

The Carrahan flag is the oldest recognised GAA trophy and Maurice Fitzgerald (yes him, again) broke a leg (colleagues) and went on to be MOTM....(1997?)

What are the most northern, southern, western and eastern clubs in Ireland?

Not correct. Kevin Moran last played in an all Ireland  senior final for Waterford hurlers in 2008. Jimmy McGee asked that one at a quiz in croke park one night and it caught everyone
