Think that happens in the next round e.g. Tyrone v Cork, winner can't play Kerry so plays one of the other 3

Ah yes, I think you're right. I knew there was one draw were the next two rounds are drawn out at one time.

So these are the teams in the round 3 draw:

Tyrone
Kildare
Cavan
Wexford
Armagh
Derry
Galway
Laois

...and the winners of round 3 will play:

Cork
Dublin/Meath
Mayo/London
Monaghan/Donegal

Armagh and Cavan bound to be drawn out again ;) From a Tyrone perspective I'd hope to avoid another Ulster county and if we get through that I think every team would want London.

Captain Obvious

Avoid Cork and the round three winners should reach the quarter finals.

Think the football championship is really going to start next weekend with some very interesting knock out games ahead. Wouldn't fancy an away draw to Kilare and if possible would want to avoid Derry particularly away. Everyone will want to know they won't have Cork to meet in round 4!

Match 1 - Galway vs Wexford
Match 2 - Tyrone vs Cavan
Match 3 - Derry vs Armagh
Match 4 - Kildare vs Laois

Looks a likely scenario for the GAA. A couple of derbies that will attract above average crowds.

Although a more saucy scenario would be

Derry Tyrone
Cavan Armagh
Kildare Galway
Wexford Laois

would love Tyrone.
we wont win an AI but to beat them hoors and then get beat by London would do me !!

If Cork play like they did for much of the Munster final a half-decent side could easily clip them. Problem is there's only about one of those currently in the qualifiers. Maybe if Kildare suddenly find their 2010-2011 or Derry if their upswing continues, but Cork themselves will be hoping not to get Tyrone in round four.
